OnePlus 6T Speaker Replacement

Ensure the phone is powered off.

Place the phone face-up on a stable surface to prevent damage or injury.

Insert SIM card removal tool into the small hole on the upper-left side of the phone.

• Pry out the SIM card from its tray with a gentle rocking motion.

Apply gentle heat carefully when loosening binding glue.

• Use a hairdryer or an iOpener to loosen the binding glue.
• If using a hairdryer, hold at least eight inches away from the phone and apply heat for two minutes in a circular motion around the edges.

Insert a Jimmy under one of the heated corners of the phone, lifting it slightly.

• Plastic card insert: underneath the lifted lip on the back cover, gently glide the card under the phone casing.
• Tension is normal as adhesive is removed; proceed carefully.

Remove the back cover from the phone.

Use high concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove all adhesive residue from the back cover and the frame.

• Remove 7 Phillips #00 screws, 3mm in diameter, from the speaker.

Use a plastic spudger to carefully lift out the speaker.
