Insert a Jimmy under one of the heated corners.

  • Lift the phone slightly with the Jimmy in place.
  • Slide a plastic card underneath the lip on the back cover, gliding it under the lifted casing.
  • You may encounter some tension as the card removes adhesive; this is normal.
  • Remove the back cover from the phone.

Use high concentration (greater than 90%) isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to clean adhesives from both surfaces.

Old adhesive residue must be completely removed for new adhesives to bond properly.

  • Remove the display from the phone.
  • Thoroughly clean surfaces with gentle cleaning methods, removing all old adhesive.

Inadequate cleaning can cause damage or dust/dirt entry.

Carefully apply a thin layer of B7000 Adhesive around the edges where the old screen was located.

  • Place the new OnePlus LCD and Touch Screen into position, making any necessary adjustments for a secure fit.
  • Apply pressure along all edges to secure the screen in place.
