OnePlus 6T Back Cover Replacement

Power down the phone completely.

• Position the phone on a stable surface with the back cover facing upwards.

Insert a SIM card removal tool into the small hole located in the upper-left side of the phone.

• Pull out the SIM card tray to access the SIM card.
• Gently remove the SIM card from its tray, taking care not to touch any internal components.

Be cautious not to damage the phone's components when loosening binding glue.

• Use a hairdryer or an iOpener to loosen the binding glue.
• If using a hairdryer, hold it at least eight inches from the phone and apply heat for two minutes in a circular motion around the edges.

Insert a Jimmy under one of the heated corners to lift the phone slightly.

• Place a plastic card under the lifted lip on the back cover, gliding it underneath the casing.
• The process may exert some tension as adhesive is released.

Use high concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to thoroughly clean any remaining adhesive residue from both the back cover and frame.
