Turn on the heat gun to low heat.
Wedge the opening picks between the front and back panel.
Hold the back panel firmly and gently lift it up.
Be careful not to damage the fingerprint sensor ribbon cable.
Use tweezers to gently lift the red tab, disconnecting the cable.
Grasp the battery's green release tab and carefully lift the battery straight up.
Remove the eight 3mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Remove the two 2.3 mm screws from the charging port using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Disconnect the four connectors around the charging port with a pair of tweezers.
Use your finger to lift the rubber strip, it is located just inside the battery housing.
Use tweezers to grasp the charging port ribbon cable, then gently pull it toward the top of the phone.
