Follow this guide for removing and replacing the speaker on a OnePlus 5T device.
Switch off your phone.
Remove the Torx T2 screws, two in total.
Be cautious when prying open, as the strong clamps may require significant force.
Insert a credit card or similar tool between the display and the backcover at the bottom.
Position the first opening pick in the bottom right corner.
Do not completely remove the back cover yet.
Use a spudger to carefully pry up the fingerprint flex cable from its socket.
Twist the back cover approximately 180 degrees, then lay it down with the bottom end aligned at the top edge of the battery.
Remove the small metal shield covering the battery, charging port, and headphone jack connections using a pair of tweezers.
Use a spudger to carefully pry up the charging port and headphone jack flex cable, then disconnect it.
Remove the back cover.
Remove the battery flex cable by prying it loose with a spudger.
Remove six Phillips #00 screws, each 2.9 mm in length.
Insert an opening pick on the left side of the speaker.
Remove the speaker.
