LG X Style Speaker Replacement

Remove the twelve 3mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

• Apply pressure with the plastic opening tool to create a gap between the glass screen and plastic edge of the device.
• Slide the tool around the entire device, starting at the top.
• Lift off and remove the screen from the device.

Power down the device and ensure it is fully turned off.

• Insert the plastic opening tool into the bracket space on the back bottom left of the phone.
• Gently twist the tool clockwise until the back case pops open, creating a small gap.
• Slide the tool along the gap around the entire device.

Insert the plastic opening tool into the indent below the battery.

• Pry up gently to lift and remove the battery.

Insert the plastic opening tool into the slit around the speaker box on the mid shield frame.

• Pick up the speaker housing by gently popping it up with your fingers or a tool.
• If the adhesive film remains attached to the speaker, use the plastic opening tool to carefully peel it off.
