LG X Style Camera Flash Replacement
This repair guide is only for LG devices with a removable front camera display. Proceed at your own risk if you're unsure about the specifics of your device.

Step 1 | Battery
Power down the device and ensure it is fully turned off.
- Insert the plastic opening tool into the bracket space on the back bottom left of the phone.
- Gently twist the tool clockwise until a small gap forms between the back case and the device.
- Slide the tool along the gap around the entire device to fully open it.
Step 2
Insert plastic opening tool into indent below battery. Pry up to lift and remove battery.
Step 3 | Screen
Remove the twelve 3mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
Step 4
Avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage.
- Insert a plastic opening tool between the glass screen and plastic edge.
- Pry the tool around the entire device, starting from the top.
- Lift off the screen carefully for removal.
Step 5 | Camera Flash
Use a plastic opening tool to gently lift the display connector.
- Lift up the connector at an angle until it's disconnected from the lower right side of the phone.
- Lift the metal connection perpendicular to the motherboard.
Step 6
Lift the camera ribbon cable carefully, then remove the entire front camera housing.
Step 7
Use the opening tool to carefully pry up along the edge of the motherboard.
- Gently pull the motherboard upwards.
- Remove the motherboard from the device.
