LG X Power Disassembly

This guide does not involve any component replacement, but rather prepares your device for future repairs.

Complete these steps before making any other changes to your phone.

Step 1 | LG X Power Disassembly

Insert a plastic opening tool above the AUX jack and slide it around the perimeter to release the back cover.

Step 2

Remove twelve 2.5mm Phillips #0 screws from the back.

Locate all visible screws.
Use a screwdriver to remove each one in sequence.

Step 3

Locate the mid-frame and insert a plastic opening tool underneath.

Pry upwards gently until you hear a distinct click.
Continue working your way around the perimeter with the tool still in place until it's released from the smartphone.
