LG X Power Camera Replacement
Familiarize yourself with your device and its components before commencing repairs.
- The following guide is for replacing the camera module on an LG X Power smartphone.
Step 1 | LG X Power Disassembly
Insert plastic opening tool above the AUX jack.
- Slide it around the perimeter to release the back cover.
- The back cover should now "pop" off.
Step 2
- Remove the 12 x 2.5mm Phillips #0 screws from the back of the phone.
Step 3
- Insert a plastic opening tool under the mid-frame.
- Pry upwards until you hear a click.
- Work your way around the perimeter with the tool still in place.
- The mid-frame should be free from the smartphone at this point.
Step 4 | Main Camera
- Disconnect the front camera using the flat end of a spudger.
- Repeat for the rear camera, then pull both out to remove.
