Pry the back cover using your finger, starting at the crease.

• Continue prying until the back casing comes loose.

Use your finger to pry the battery out from its removal crease.

Locate the JIS #000 screwdriver.

• Remove the top row of screws, totaling three.
• Next, remove the screws above the battery: one in this area, and two others nearby, for a total of three.
• Remove the screw next to the battery, bringing the count to four.
• Continue by removing the screw under the battery, now at five removed.
• Finish by taking out the bottom row of screws, three in total, for a final count of eleven.

Remove the back housing from the phone's using a plastic opening tool.

Use precision tweezers to gently lift the rubber tab from its anchor.

• Push the power button through the cutout.
• The power button will be completely removed.
