LG V50 ThinQ Screen Replacement

- Making sure the device is powered off, start by reviewing potential fixes for touchscreen issues.
- If necessary replacement of the screen is confirmed, proceed with these instructions.
Step 1 | Screen
Flip the phone over with the back facing upwards.
- Run the opening pick along the edge of the back cover to loosen it.
- Pry the back cover open carefully.
Step 2
Place the device face down on a stable surface.
- Remove 12 1mm Phillips #000 screws using a suitable driver.
Note: These screws are to be reused later in the assembly process.
Step 3
Remove the two protective brackets covering the internal components.
Step 4
Disconnect the battery connector located above the battery.
- Remove the screen connector from its port situated on the left side of the device's back panel.
Step 5
Run a plastic pick (or similar tool) between the screen and base to loosen.
- Remove the screen.
Use a 1mm double-sided adhesive along edges for secure reattachment.
Insert replacement screen into place, ensuring proper alignment.
