LG V50 ThinQ Battery Replacement

Flip the phone over with the back facing you.

  • Use a strong opening pick to pry open the back cover along all sides.
  • Move the opening pick slowly to reveal the internal components.

  • Remove all twelve 1 mm Phillips #000 screws.
  • Keep the screws in a safe place for reassembly.

Disconnect and remove the two bracket

Never use a metallic or sharp object to remove the phone battery.

  • Disconnect the battery from the phone by removing the connection from the port.
  • Use an opening pick (as shown in image 2) to carefully pry and remove the old battery, pulling upwards.

Be gentle when handling the battery to avoid denting or breaking it.

  • Install the new battery into its slot, ensuring secure contact with the copper-colored heatsink on the bottom, then firmly press it in place.
