LG V30 Plus Rear Glass Replacement
Removing the rear glass may cause damage or expose internal components, handle with care.
- Remove the rear glass.
- If the rear glass is cracked, use this guide to safely remove it and avoid further damage.
Step 1 | Rear Glass
Heat two iOpeners in a microwave and place them on the phone's edges.
- Allow the iOpeners to sit for 1-2 minutes, allowing the adhesive to heat up.
- If necessary, use a heat gun to aid in separating the backing from the screen.
Step 2
- Insert an Opening Tool into the seam between the rear glass and side of the phone.
- Pry off the glass just enough to insert an Opening Pick.
- Slide the Opening Tool around the edges, placing additional Opening Picks as needed.
Step 3
Use a Suction Handle to carefully remove the rear glass.
- Lift the edges of the device completely before proceeding.
- Gently pull the rear glass away from the device using the Suction Handle.
