LG V10 Loudspeaker Replacement

Ensure the LG V10 is powered off before commencing repairs. Distorted loudspeaker output (audible via external speakers only) indicates a potential speaker replacement requirement.

Step 1 | Battery

Risk of damage to the charging port or back cover if not done carefully.

  • Insert the flat end of a plastic spudger, or your finger, between the back cover and the charging port.
  • Lift up on the spudger or with your finger to release the back cover.
  • Slide a finger or spudger under the back cover and around the sides to remove it completely.

Use your finger or the flat end of a spudger to carefully pry the battery out.

  • Apply gentle pressure at the designated prying point next to the battery.

Step 3 | Loudspeaker

Use a screwdriver with a J000 Phillips bit to remove the 10 3.175 mm screws.

  • Begin by prying the panel up using a plastic opening tool, starting from the sides of the battery slot.

Hold the loudspeaker component firmly and gently pull upwards to dislodge it.
