LG Tribute Rear-Facing Camera Replacement

Disassembling the phone may void your warranty.

Remove the back panel of the LG Tribute using a plastic spudger.
Lift out the rear facing camera module from its holder.

Step 1 | Battery

Use the plastic opening tool to carefully pry off the back cover.

Step 2

Lift the battery out of its compartment.

Ensure the (+) and (-) terminal symbols match up correctly with the phone's charging nodes when installing a new battery.

Step 3 | Mid-panel

Use a Phillips head 000 screwdriver to remove eight 4mm screws.

Step 4

Avoid using excessive force or prying, which may break the tabs.

Use a plastic opening tool to carefully loosen the tabs around the phone's edge.
Inserting a thin piece of plastic can help prevent reopened tabs from locking back into place.

Step 5 | Rear Facing Camera

Use a plastic opening tool to disconnect the rear facing camera from the motherboard.
Lift the rear facing camera out of its housing.
