LG Tribute lower media Speaker Replacement

The ear piece speaker is situated at the top of the device, adjacent to the front facing camera.

Step 1 | Battery

Remove back cover with a plastic opening tool.

Step 2

Ensure proper polarity when installing the new battery.

Lift the old battery out of its compartment.
Install the new battery, orienting it so that the (+) terminal aligns with the phone's positive charging node and the (-) terminal aligns with the negative charging node.

Step 3 | Mid-panel

Use a Phillips head 000 screwdriver to remove eight 4mm screws.

Step 4

Avoid applying excessive force — risk of breaking the delicate tabs.

Loosen the tabs around the phone's edge using a plastic opening tool.
Inserting a thin piece of plastic helps prevent reopened tabs from locking back into place.
Be patient, as this step can be frustrating

Step 5 | Main media Speaker

Disconnect the speaker with a plastic opening tool or your finger.
