LG Tribute Front Facing Camera Replacement
Replacing the front facing camera on your phone requires careful attention and proper technique, as described below.
Step 1 | Battery
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back cover.
Step 2
Remove the battery from its compartment.
Ensure the (+) and (-) terminals align correctly with the phone's charging contacts to avoid damage or malfunction.
Step 3 | Mid-panel
Remove 8 x 4mm screws with a PH000 screwdriver.

Avoid using excessive force or prying, which can damage the delicate tabs.
- Loosen the tabs around the phone's edge with a plastic opening tool.
- Use a thin piece of plastic to help prevent opened tabs from locking back into place.
Step 5 | Front Facing Camera
Use the plastic opening tool to gently pry the front-facing camera away from the motherboard.
