LG Tribute HD Headphone Jack Replacement

The headphones jack on an LG Tribute HD LS676 can be replaced using this guide.

Step 1 | Battery and SD Card

Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the cutout on the back cover.

Pry outward gently to avoid damaging surrounding components.

Step 2

Remove the battery from the phone.

Slide the SD Card out, as illustrated, to remove it.

Step 3 | Headphone Jack

Remove the twelve 2mm JIS #00 screws from the mid-frame.

Step 4

Remove the antenna extender from the mid-frame using a plastic opening tool.

Step 5

Remove the mid-frame using your fingers.

Step 6

Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry the flex cable away from the back panel.
Flip over the device and gently push on the rear side of the headphone jack until it dislodges.
