LG Tribute HD Button Replacement

Replace the volume and power button assembly on an LG Tribute HD device.

Step 1 | Battery and SD Card

Use a fingernail or plastic opening tool to pry the back cover outward through the provided cutout.

Insert the tool into the cutout.
Pry gently but firmly outward to remove the back cover.

Step 2

Pull the battery out of the phone.
Slide the SD Card out in the direction indicated.

Step 3 | Volume & Power Buttons

Remove all twelve 2mm JIS #00 screws from the mid-frame.

Step 4

Remove the antenna extender from the mid-frame using a plastic opening tool.

Step 5

Remove the mid-frame with your fingers.

Step 6

Insert the plastic opening tool between the button and the device, then push inwards gently until the button pops out.
