LG Tribute 5 Headphone Jack Replacement

Replace the headphone jack on an LG Tribute 5 (model LS675) if you experience no sound or audio distortion with headphones inserted.

Step 1 | Battery

Use an iFixit opening tool to carefully pry up the cutout at the bottom left edge of the phone.

Pull the tool gently outward while prying to avoid damaging the surrounding components.

Step 2

Remove the battery by gently lifting it from its compartment.

Utilize an iFixit opening tool to slide out the SD card and nano sim card as indicated in the provided image.

Step 3 | Headphone Jack

Remove the nine 2mm JIS #00 screws from the mid-frame.

Step 4

Remove the antenna extender using an iFixit opening tool.

Step 5

Bending or damaging the device may occur if excessive force is applied.

Remove the mid-frame using an iFixit opening tool as shown in the reference image.
Separate the mid frame carefully to avoid applying too much pressure, which can cause damage or bending.

Step 6

Remove the headphone jack with an iFixit opening tool.
