LG Treasure Display Replacement
The goal of this repair is to access and replace the digitizer and motherboard on the display screen.
Step 1 | Battery
Ensure the LG Treasure is powered down.
- Pull off the back cover using the groove located at the bottom right side of the device.
Step 2
Remove the battery by gently lifting it up at the bottom edge.
Step 3 | Display
Remove all 9 3mm Phillips #000 screws from the digitizer.
- Gently work your way around the edge of the phone with a plastic spudger or similar tool, prying the digitizer off the phone.
Step 4
- Disconnect the Front Facing Camera, Rear Facing Camera, and Display Connector by gently lifting their gold connectors.
- Lift the ear speaker and audio jack out of place using a pair of tweezers.
Step 5
Remove the motherboard by gently lifting it away from the display screen.
