Locate the small notch at the bottom of the back cover.

• Pry open the back cover using a fingernail or a plastic opening tool.

Locate and lift up on the battery using the small notch or ledge at its base.

• The notch provides extra leverage to help you pry the battery out smoothly.
• Once removed, set the battery aside in a safe place.

Remove the three Philips #00 screws located at the bottom of the phone.

• Remove the two 5.5 mm screws.
• Remove the one 4 mm screw.

Insert a paper clip or other thin tool into the small notch at the bottom of the phone.

• Wedge the tool between the speaker and the casing, prying the speaker out slowly.
