LG Thrill 4G SIM/Micro SD Card Replacement

Use a fingernail or plastic opening tool to pry open the back cover.

Note the small notch at the bottom for easy removal.

Locate and remove the battery, noting the small ledge at the bottom that aids in easy removal.

• Slide the battery up to disengage it from its housing.
• The phone will now be powered off.

Remove all four screws from the phone's bottom.

• Phillips #00 screws (3)
• 5.5mm screws (2)
• 4mm screw

Start by inserting your finger or an opening tool into the small notch at the bottom of the phone.

• Gently pry the speaker away from its enclosure, working upwards.

• Remove the power button from the top.
• Remove the volume button from the side.
• Remove the 3D camera button from the side.

Position the plastic opening tool under the bezel at one bottom corner of the HDMI cover.

• This action will loosen both the HDMI cover and USB cover, allowing for easy removal.

Remove the Phillips #00 screws located within the mid-cover bezel.

Disconnect the ribbon cable from the black micro-SIM card board using a spudger or plastic opening tool.

Remove the board by carefully prying it up from its mounting position.

• Pry the small tab connected to the camera unit loose.
