LG Sunrise Midframe Replacement
This is a repair guide for the LG Sunrise's midframe removal procedure.
Step 1 | Back cover
Hold the phone with the back side facing towards you.
Step 2
Use a prying tool or a flat head screwdriver to carefully remove the back cover.
Step 3
Set the back panel aside for possible reuse.
Step 4 | Battery
Use your finger to gently pull out the battery located at the bottom of the device.
Step 5 | Lower Back Plastic Piece
Remove the two lower screws. This allows removal of the lower plastic piece.
Step 6
Remove both screws. The bottom piece should come loose.
Step 7 | Midframe
Remove all 6 screws.
- Pry the back plastic piece from the bottom edge using a gentle prying motion.
- Continue to pry along all sides of the back plastic piece as it will become easier after starting at the bottom.
Step 8
Expose the motherboard by prying off the back panel. Set it aside for later use.
