LG Stylo 3 Plus Rear Camera Replacement
Risk of damage if you don't unplug the power before starting.
- Remove the battery cover using a small flathead screwdriver.
- Disconnect the flexible cable from the rear camera module.
- Remove two T5 screws holding the rear camera module in place.
- Carefully lift out the rear camera module and set it aside.
- Replace any damaged or faulty components with new ones.
- Reassemble everything in reverse order, making sure all parts are securely fastened.
Step 1 | Back Cover
Power off the phone before proceeding.
- Place the phone face down on a flat surface.
- Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the gap on the side of the phone.
- Slide your finger or the tool along the edge to loosen the back case.
Step 2 | Battery
Place the back cover aside.
- Insert an opening tool into the small gap beneath the battery.
- Pry the battery gently to prevent damage.
Step 3 | Rear Camera
Remove twelve 4mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
- Use a plastic opening tool to pry open the inner case.
Carefully lift out the inner case to avoid damage or injury.
Step 4
Flip the flex cable with a fingernail or plastic opening tool.
- Grasp and pull out the camera using precision tweezers.
