LG Stylo 3 Plus Headphone Jack Replacement

Dirt and dust accumulation can affect headphone jack functionality.

  • Thoroughly clean the headphone jack; if issues persist, proceed with replacement.

Step 1 | Back Cover

Power off the phone.

  • Place the phone face down.
  • Insert a fingernail or plastic opening tool into the gap on the side of the phone.
  • Slide your finger or the tool throughout the edge to ease the back case off.

Step 2 | Battery

Careful not to damage the battery.

  • Set aside the back cover.
  • Insert the opening tool into the gap below the battery.
  • Pry out the battery carefully.

Step 3 | Rear Camera

Remove all twelve 4mm screws using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

  • Use the plastic opening tool to remove the inner case.
  • Carefully lift out the inner case.

Flip the flex cable using your fingernail or a plastic opening tool.

  • Be gentle, as the flex cable can be fragile.
  • Use precision tweezers to carefully grasp and pull out the camera.

Step 5 | Front Camera

  • Flip open the flex cable box using a plastic opening tool.

  • Be cautious when handling the delicate components — risk of damage.

    • Lift the front camera off the device using precision tweezers.

Step 6 | Motherboard

Flip open the flex cable box using a blue plastic opening tool.

  • Motherboard: Remove carefully with your hands or a blue plastic opening tool.
  • Ensure all parts are secure during removal.

Step 7 | Headphone Jack

Disconnect the headphone jack.
