LG Stylo 3 Plus Front Camera Replacement

If your phone's selfie camera is not working properly, it may need to be replaced.

Replace the front camera of your LG Stylo 3 Plus with a new one.
This repair should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

Step 1 | Back Cover

Power off the phone.

Place the phone face down.

fingernail or a plastic opening tool into the gap on the side of the phone.

Slide your finger or the tool throughout the edge of the phone to ease the back case off.

Step 2 | Battery

Remove the back cover.

Insert an opening tool into the small gap below the battery.
Pry the battery out, taking care to avoid damage.

Step 3 | Rear Camera

Remove 12 x 4mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Use a plastic opening tool to pry off the inner case.

Carefully remove the inner case

Step 4

Flip the flex cable with a plastic opening tool or your fingernail.
Use precision tweezers to carefully grasp and pull out the camera.

Step 5 | Front Camera

Flip open the flex cable box using a plastic opening tool.

Lift the front camera off the device using precision tweezers.
