LG Spectrum Camera Replacement
Replace the LG Spectrum Camera when it fails to focus properly or the lens becomes damaged.
Step 1 | Battery
Use your thumbnail to lift the notch located at the center of the phone's bottom edge.
Step 2
Use a thumbnail or a plastic opening tool to lift the battery at the notch in the lower left corner.
- Lift up on the battery carefully.
- Remove the battery from the phone completely.
Step 3 | Camera
Remove the eleven 4mm Phillips #000 screws using a PH000 screwdriver.
- Place the removed screws on the magnet board to keep them organized.
Step 4
Insert the plastic opening tool and gently pry up the plastic backing along the edges.
Step 5
Use a plastic opening tool to carefully lift the camera's attached film off the motherboard.
- Gently pry up on the film using the plastic opening tool.
Step 6
Remove the camera by gently pulling it away from the motherboard.
- Use a plastic opening tool, or your fingers, to carefully lift the camera.
- Once loose, pull the camera straight up and remove it from its socket on the motherboard.
