LG Spectrum Audio Port Replacement

If audio issues persist with multiple headphones, consider replacing the Audio Jack.

  • Follow these steps to replace the Audio Jack.

Step 1 | Battery

Use your fingernail to gently pry the notch in the center of the phone's bottom edge.

  • Lift up on the battery using the notch at the bottom left with your thumbnail
  • Or use a plastic opening tool to pry it out from this notch.

Step 3 | Audio Port

Remove 11 PH000 screws using the PH000 screwdriver.

  • Place the screws on the magnet board for safekeeping.

Step 4

Use a plastic opening tool to firmly pry apart the phone's plastic backing.

  • Begin at the phone's periphery, working your way around the device.
  • Apply firm pressure to avoid damaging the backing or other components.

Step 5

Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry up the plastic film covering the audio port.

Step 6

Either use your hand to grasp and remove the audio port, or use a plastic opening tool.
