LG Risio Rear-Facing Camera Replacement
Blurry rear-facing camera photos may indicate a faulty camera module.
- Follow this replacement guide for steps to replace the rear-facing camera.
Step 1 | Back Panel
Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back panel away from the device.
- Continue prying until the panel is completely free.
- Set the panel aside.
- Back panel removed.
Step 2 | Battery
Insert your thumb under the battery's bottom edge and push up to release.
Step 3 | Midframe
Use a fingernail or an iFixit opening tool to press down on the SIM eject tab.
- Slide the SIM card out once the tab is pressed.
Step 4
Remove eight Phillips #0 screws from the internal support frame.
Step 5
Locate and use the opening tool at marked points to gently pry edges upwards.
A distinct click indicates successful edge release.
Step 6
Hold the midframe with one hand.
Use your other hand to gently pull it away from the phone.
