LG Risio Midframe Replacement
This repair guide is intended for users seeking access to the LG Risio Motherboard and internal components.
Step 1 | Back Panel
- Insert a plastic opening tool between the back panel and device.
- Separate the back panel using the tool, then remove it completely.
Step 2 | Battery
Insert your thumb into the space at the base of the battery and gently push upwards to release it.
Step 3 | Midframe
Press down on the SIM eject tab using a fingernail or iFixit opening tool.
- Slide the SIM card out.
Step 4
Remove the eight Phillips #0 screws from the internal support frame.
Step 5
Locate and press opening tool onto marked locations, gently lifting upwards.
A slight 'click' indicates successful edge release.
Step 6
Hold the midframe carefully and lift it off the phone using your hands.
