LG Risio Front Camera Replacement
The LG Risio front-facing camera replacement guide is for owners who have a non-functional camera.
Step 1 | Back Panel
Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back panel away from the device.
- Continue prying until the back panel is completely removed.
Step 2 | Battery
Position your thumb at the bottom edge of the battery and gently pry it up.
Step 3 | Midframe
Press down on the SIM eject tab using a fingernail or an iFixit opening tool, then slide the SIM card out.
Step 4
Remove the eight Phillips #0 screws from the internal support frame.
Step 5
Apply an opening tool to the indicated locations, gently prying the edges upwards.
You may hear a distinct 'click' sound as the edges lift.
Step 6
Hold the midframe in one hand.
- Pull the midframe away from the phone using a firm but gentle grip.
Step 7 | Front-Facing Camera
Unclip front camera connector from the motherboard.
- Lift it away from the frame.
