LG Rebel Motherboard Replacement
Handle small parts with care to avoid loss or damage during motherboard removal.
- Replace the LG Rebel Motherboard.
Step 1 | Motherboard
- Insert the plastic opening tool into the small groove.
- Use the tool to remove the back cover.
Step 2
- Insert a metal spudger into the small groove on the back of the phone.
- Lift and remove the black plastic covering using the metal spudger.
Step 3
Use the metal spudger to gently lift the remaining black plastic cover pieces.
Step 4
Use the metal spudger to disengage the two connectors on the rear of the device.
Step 5
Flip the phone over to face the screen upwards.
Run a strong metal spudger along the edge of the phone to break the seal.
Lift and remove the screen with a suitable suction cup.
Step 6
Slide the black bumper out using a metal spudger from the bottom of the phone.
Step 7
- Loosen the motherboard using a metal spudger.
- Slow and gentle motion recommended.
- Slide the motherboard out of its compartment.
- Remove the motherboard.
