LG Rebel Motherboard Replacement

Handle small parts with care to avoid loss or damage during motherboard removal.

  • Replace the LG Rebel Motherboard.

  • Insert the plastic opening tool into the small groove.
  • Use the tool to remove the back cover.

  • Insert a metal spudger into the small groove on the back of the phone.
  • Lift and remove the black plastic covering using the metal spudger.

Use the metal spudger to gently lift the remaining black plastic cover pieces.

Use the metal spudger to disengage the two connectors on the rear of the device.

  • Flip the phone over to face the screen upwards.

  • Run a strong metal spudger along the edge of the phone to break the seal.

  • Lift and remove the screen with a suitable suction cup.

Slide the black bumper out using a metal spudger from the bottom of the phone.

  • Loosen the motherboard using a metal spudger.
  • Slow and gentle motion recommended.
  • Slide the motherboard out of its compartment.
  • Remove the motherboard.
