LG Rebel Front Camera Replacement

Flip your phone over to expose the front.

  • Pry the screen loose from the top-right corner using a spudger.
  • Gently work your way along the edges, removing the screen completely.

Loosen the grip around the edges of the phone.

  • Pry off the screen using a suction cup.
  • Turn the phone on its side and locate the groove on the side.
  • Use a plastic opening tool to open the black plastic covering.
  • Remove the black plastic cover.

  • Identify the small groove at the bottom of the phone's back.
  • Pop open the black plastic covering using a metal spudger.
  • Remove the black plastic covering to access the next step.

Use the metal spudger to pry open the black plastic covering located near the top of the phone.

  • Pop up the black plastic covering with the metal spudger.
  • Remove the black plastic covering once it is popped up.

Remove the motherboard using a spudger.

  • Lift the motherboard slowly, taking care not to touch any internal components.

Once removed, handle the phone with extra caution as the internal components are exposed.

Set the phone aside and focus on the front camera module.

Use a spudger to carefully pull out the front camera from its housing.
