LG Power Back Camera Replacement
- This repair allows for easy replacement of a faulty camera.
- It also covers maintenance tasks, such as cleaning a cloudy camera, without damaging other components.
Step 1 | Battery
Do not use a metal spudger, as it may damage the device.
- Use a plastic spudger or guitar pick to pry between the back and front panels at the bottom.
Step 2
Remove the back panel with a gentle prying motion, then set it aside.
Step 3
Remove the battery by pulling it out with the thumb tab.
Step 4 | Back Camera
Use the Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the eight 4mm screws located on the side of the mid panel.
Step 5
Insert a plastic opening tool between the mid-panel and front panel.
- Slide the tool along the gap to dislodge the middle panel.
- Remove the mid panel from its position and set it aside.
Step 6
Detaching the back camera requires using a plastic opening tool.
- Disconnect the back camera from the mid panel.
- Remove the camera once it is detached.
