LG Phoenix 2 Outer Trim Replacement

Handle all components with care to avoid damage or misplacement.

Required tools: a plastic opening tool and a Phillips #000 screwdriver head.
This guide is for replacing the damaged outer trim on an LG Phoenix 2.

Step 1 | Outer Trim Casing

Locate the notch at the bottom right corner of your phone.

Use a fingernail to pry off the back cover from this notch.

Step 2

Locate the notch below the battery.

Pry the battery out using your finger.

Step 3

Insert opening tool under bottom cover.

Pry open bottom cover using opening tool.

Step 4

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove eight 3mm screws.

Step 5

Insert the opening tool between the silver trim and the screen.

Pop off the trim.
