LG Optimus Zone 3 Screen Replacement
Replacing the screen assembly on an LG Optimus Zone 3 is a more cost-effective option than replacing the entire phone.
- The original screen can be removed, taking care not to damage other components.
- Install the new screen assembly, ensuring proper alignment and securement.
Step 1 | Battery
Insert your fingernail into the slot at the back left side of the phone.
Use gentle prying motion to open the device.
Step 2
Check that the battery is properly seated between the device's fingers.
- If the battery is present and loose, reseat it firmly.
- Verify that the battery is securely held in place by its locating pins.
- Remove and inspect the battery if you are still unable to locate it.
If your device has no battery, do not attempt to install a new one without consulting the user manual or contacting technical support first.
Step 3 | Screen
Insert the plastic opening tool into the groove between the screen and the rest of the device.
- Work your way around the perimeter by sliding the opening tool along the edge.
- Continue until you've loosened the screen sufficiently to remove it.
Step 4
Remove the screen from the device by gently peeling it away from the base.
- Fully detach the screen from its connection point.
