Insert the tip of a picking tool or similar instrument into the slot located on the back left side of the device.

• Pry the device open slowly but firmly.

Locate the section between the fingers and check for the presence of a battery.

• Verify if the battery is missing or faulty.
• If absent, attempt to reinsert it, if available.
• Otherwise, replace the battery with a new one of correct specifications.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the groove between the screen and the device.

• Slide the tool along the edge to loosen the screen.

Peel the screen away from the base of the phone.

• Continue to peel until the screen is completely removed.

Insert plastic opening tool into the groove between the display and phone body.

• Work the tool around the edges to loosen the display.
• Remove the display with your fingers once it's loose.

Loosen the bottom shield on the back of the phone with a plastic opening tool.

Remove the shield from the device.

Remove the upper shield on the back of the phone with a plastic opening tool.

Push down on the top plastic shield on the front side of the phone to loosen it.

• Use a plastic opening tool to completely remove the shield.

Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the front bezel upwards from the phone.

• Pry carefully around the edges until the bezel comes loose.

Work your way around the motherboard with a plastic opening tool, loosening it from the phone's body.

Grasp the blue motherboard carefully with your fingers.

Ensure it is loose before removal to avoid damage or short circuits.

Safely pull the motherboard out of the device.
