LG Optimus V Camera Replacement

Step 1 | Battery

Place the LG Optimus V device face-down on a flat surface.

Step 2

Remove the back cover from the device.

Locate the opening just above the camera.
Use a spudger to carefully pry off the back cover.

Step 3

Remove the battery with a spudger.

Step 4 | Camera

Remove the six screws from the silver casing.
Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry off the silver casing.

Step 5

Remove the part-holding areas with a plastic opening tool.

Step 6

Remove the Y3114C component using a plastic opening tool.

Pry off the camera with a plastic opening tool.
