LG Optimus L9 P769 Rear Facing Camera Replacement
- Verify removal of back panel and speaker prior to proceeding.
Step 1 | Removing the Back Panel
Remove the back panel by prying it from the phone's frame.
- The motherboard should now be visible.
Step 2 | Unpluging the Motherboard
Disconnect the connectors from the motherboard.
Step 3 | Unpluging the Motherboard Cont.
Lift off all remaining connectors from the motherboard.
Step 4 | Lifting Motherboard from the Phone
Lift the speaker cable off the motherboard.
- Lift the motherboard up, taking care not to disconnect it from the frame yet.
Step 5 | Pry and remove the camera
Locate the camera module and insert a pry tool under its base.
- The adhesive may require gentle prying to release.
- The camera module should now be completely detached from the phone's frame.
