Step 1 | Motherboard
Place the device face down on a stable surface.
- Remove the back cove.
- Lift the battery with your finger or a prying tool and remove it from the phone.
Step 2
Careful not to apply excessive force while prying the back frame.
- Remove all 10 4.5mm Phillips screws holding the back frame in place.
- Pry the back frame from the sides using a small plastic prying tool.
Step 3
Use tweezers to pinch the sides of the antenna node and pull straight up.
- Remove the ribbon cable from the motherboard using a small prying tool.
Step 4
Use a spudger or small pry tool to carefully lift the motherboard away from the device's chassis.
