LG Optimus L9 P769 Motherboard Replacement

Place the device face down on a stable surface.

  • Remove the back cove.
  • Lift the battery with your finger or a prying tool and remove it from the phone.

Careful not to apply excessive force while prying the back frame.

  • Remove all 10 4.5mm Phillips screws holding the back frame in place.
  • Pry the back frame from the sides using a small plastic prying tool.

Use tweezers to pinch the sides of the antenna node and pull straight up.

  • Remove the ribbon cable from the motherboard using a small prying tool.

Use a spudger or small pry tool to carefully lift the motherboard away from the device's chassis.
