LG Optimus L9 P769 Battery Replacement
Take care not to damage the back case during removal.
- Remove the back case by hand (no special tools needed).
- Perform this repair if your phone experiences power loss, will not hold a charge, or becomes extremely hot to the touch.
Step 1 | Position
Place the phone with its screen facing downwards.
Step 2 | Rear Case Removal
Hold the phone with one hand.
- Position your fingernail or an opening tool (credit card) under the lip at the bottom of the phone's case.
- Pry the rear case upwards until you hear a distinct click.
- The rear case will now be removable.
Step 3 | Battery Removal
- Face down, place the phone on a flat surface.
- Pry out the battery using your thumb or a tool.
