LG Optimus L7 P705 Home Button Replacement

Replacing the home button may cause device malfunction if not done correctly.

Prepare a suction cup and a spudger.
Apply heat to loosen the home button adhesive.

Step 1 | Home Button

Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back cover away from the phone.
Disconnect the battery and remove the SIM card.

Step 2

Remove the twelve screws with a Phillips 000 screwdriver.

Step 3

Remove the bottom plate that covers the charger port area.

Step 4

Insert a plastic opening tool into the seam and gently press down to release the cover.

Step 5

Lift off the glass screen.

Flip the device over.

Step 6

Remove the home screen button.

Replace if damaged or faulty
