LG Optimus L7 P705 Headphone Jack Replacement

Use a plastic opening tool to pry the back cover.

• Remove the battery.
• Remove the SIM card.

Remove the 12 x 3mm screws around the frame using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

• Include the screws near the SIM and SD card slots.

Take care to avoid damaging the surrounding components when removing the bottom plastic plate.

• Locate the plate around the charging port area.
• Gently pry it away from the surrounding components.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the phone's frame seam.

• Gently apply pressure to lift off the midframe cover.

• Turn the phone over to face the screen upwards.
• Lift the glass screen carefully, then remove it from the device's front.

Flip the device over and locate the left-hand side.

• Lift off the board-to-board connectors using a plastic spudger.
• There are three connectors to remove.

Use a plastic spudger to carefully lift off the wire connector located at the right bottom edge of the board.

• Remove the entire mount assembly, which includes both the SIM card and the motherboard.

Use the plastic spudger to lift off the connector.

Use the plastic spudger to lift the speaker connector.

• Flip the device over and locate the back panel.
• Lift off the left-side connector with a plastic spudger.
• Lift off the headphone jack connector on the top right using a plastic spudger.
• Replace the board containing the headphone jack.
