LG Optimus L7 P705 Display Replacement
Make sure your LG Optimus L7 P705 is powered off and placed on a flat, clean surface before starting repair.
- Pry off the back cover using a plastic spudger or similar tool.
- Follow each step to carefully remove and replace the cracked display.
Step 1 | Display
- Insert a plastic opening tool into the seam around the phone's edges and gently pry the back cover away.
- Remove the battery and SIM card once the cover is off.
Step 2
Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the twelve 3mm screws
- Around the frame.
- Near the SIM and SD card slots.
Step 3
Be cautious when handling the bottom plastic plate.
- Remove the bottom plastic plate in the charging port area.
Step 4
Insert a plastic opening tool along the seam of the phone's frame.
Apply gentle pressure to avoid damaging the surrounding components.
Lift off the midframe cover.
Step 5
Flip the phone over so the screen is facing up.
- Lift and remove the glass screen (display) from the front of the device with care.
