LG Optimus L7 P705 Charger Port Replacement

Replacing the charger port is explained in the following steps.

Step 1 | Charger Port

Remove the back cover.
Disconnect the battery and remove the simcard.

Step 2

Remove 12 screws with a Phillips head 000 driver.

Step 3

Remove the bottom plate that houses the charger port.

Step 4

Remove the back piece.

Step 5

Loosen the charger port from the bottom of the device using a soldering iron.

Step 6

Use a smudger to carefully lift the charger port.

Replace it if needed.
