LG Optimus G Pro Battery Replacement
The following steps will cover removal of the protective case and the internal battery from an LG Optimus G Pro device.
Step 1 | Remove Back Cover.
Ensure the device is not charging before starting work.
- Locate the small indent at the bottom left of the phone.
- Pry the back casing off using a plastic opening tool or fingernail from this point.
Step 2 | Remove the Battery.
Remove the outer casing according to manufacturer instructions.
- The back panel should resemble this image.
- Pull up from the red mark on the battery using your finger to remove it.
The battery will come out at an angle, but be careful not to damage any surrounding components.
