LG Optimus Fuel Volume Button Replacement
Volume button replacement requires caution to avoid damaging surrounding components.
- Remove the bottom cover using a plastic spudger.
- Disconnect the volume button connector from the motherboard.
- Remove the volume button by gently prying it out with a flathead screwdriver.
- Install the new volume button ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Reconnect the volume button connector to the motherboard.
- Replace the bottom cover in reverse order of removal.
Step 1 | Battery
Release the plastic back cover by inserting your fingers into the opening on the right-hand side.
Step 2
Remove the old battery from its housing through the curved opening located at the center bottom.
Step 3 | Volume Button
Remove the six 1.4 mm screws using a Philips screwdriver.
- Screw removal complete, set screws aside.
- Use a plastic opening tool to carefully remove the back panel.
Step 4
Press firmly on the outer edge to release the volume buttons.
