LG Optimus Fuel Camera Replacement

To troubleshoot or repair a faulty camera, follow these steps:

Note: Damaged cameras can be difficult to diagnose. If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a professional.

Step 1 | Battery

Use the phone's SIM ejector tool or a flathead screwdriver to pry open the plastic back cover from its slot on the right-hand side.

Step 2

Remove the battery by inserting the curved end of your tool into the center-bottom of the battery and gently prying it out.

Step 3 | Camera

Remove six 1.4mm screws using a PH00 Phillips head screwdriver.
Use a plastic opening tool to remove the back panel.

Step 4

Use care when handling the camera due to potential damage.

Insert the plastic opening tool between the camera and circuit board.
Use precision tweezers to gently pry the camera away from the adhesive.
Apply gentle force as needed to completely remove the camera.
