LG Optimus F60 Screen Replacement

Replacing the screen on an LG Optimus F60 typically takes approximately 6 minutes to complete.

Step 1 | Battery

Position the small plastic opening tool or your finger under the phone's lip, near the USB port.

  • Pry up on the indent with the opening tool.
  • Remove the back panel.

Insert the small plastic opening tool or your finger into the indentation at the base of the battery.

  • Pry upwards carefully to release the battery, or simply lift it out with your finger.

Step 3 | Screen

Remove the eight 4mm screws from the inner panel.

  • Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Disconnect the inner panel mounting screws.

  • Raise the inner panel from the case.

Use a plastic opening tool to remove the inner panel.

  • Apply gentle upward pressure, wiggling the tool as you go.

Locate the bottom left connector on your phone and release the latch.

  • Locate and carefully pull the motherboard away from the digitizer.
